How to load URL list in URL Checker

There are three ways to load a list of urls and they are listed under the first menu on the left "Load and Check URLs"

  1. Load URLs from clipboard (URLs line by line)
It pastes text from clipboard and looks for lines that contain valid URL addresses, that is the lines that begin with 'http://' or 'https://'. Than scan starts using recognized url lines.
  2. Load URLs from file (txt, html, csv, xml)
Open dialogs let you choose from text file formats listed above. For text files apply the same rule as for clipboard text. Lines containing valid url is extracted and scan starts. For html files internal parser scans the file and extracts url links. CSV and XML are also parsed and valid URL strings are added to the list to be scanned.
  3. Load URLs from saved report
Opens previously saved report and runs scan on its URL column.

The most convenient way if you have just a few links to check is probably pasting URL list from clipboard. For larger lists it is obviously much easier if you have links in some of the files listed above. For example obvious candidate for checking are site maps which usually come in xml format but also like plain html or simple text file that lists all links.

After a list of URLs is loaded scan starts automatically and right away you can see in the status bar at the bottom how much URL s are to be scanned.
